What * Are * Clients * Saying!?

  • “I wanted to come to therapy because I was stuck in a rut of negative thinking and no longer wanted to be in that place. I enjoyed working with Natalie because she was very straight up! She didn’t waste time dwelling on the problem but was very focused on helping me fix it while remaining open and relatable. She allowed me to go at my own pace and helped process newly learned skills to gain better control of negative thought patterns. My biggest take away that I learned was that cognitive distortions are not your reality. They can be managed by simply asking "is it true?" Thank you for all your help and teaching me about cognitive distortions and CBT.”

  • “I came to therapy because I was feeling a sense of disorder In my life and wanting someone to talk to, to help me navigate changes and difficulty in my life. Therapy has been so helpful so far! I feel like I just took a big breath of fresh air after I leave each session. Natalie is calm, relatable and understanding, and talking with her has been so easy. I really love that I leave sessions with a plan for what to do, actions to take, and I feel so good about the talks I’ve had to have with my family members, because Natalie and I figure out what I need to do/say. Therapy has been so useful and provides me with some tools I knew I was missing but just didn’t know what they were. It has improved my communication, my ability to set boundaries, and this experience has eased my anxiety towards going to therapy in general!”

  • “I came to therapy hoping to work towards healing my trauma and work on my anxiety issues using CBT. I also had a goal of learning how to set boundaries for myself and enforce them. Natalie taught me some techniques in order to identify when a boundary needs to be set and recognizing the difficult emotions that can come along with that process. This was very helpful. I have actively been practicing this and it has improved my life. I also felt that I did work towards healing my trauma by learning acceptance and the options I have to react to a situation instead of trying to change things I don't have control over. My anxiety is a work in progress still, but Natalie provided me with many tools to help me cope with situations where I'm anxious, including setting boundaries and body scans. I specifically liked that Natalie made me feel that parts of myself that are often criticized by others or that I doubt myself are actually ok. I don't need to change certain things to please others and I shouldn't feel guilty for who I am. That was also a tremendous revelation for me during therapy and gave me more confidence thanks to her. Overall, the work I did with Natalie was very beneficial for my mental health and I improved a lot over the months I worked with her. Thank you Natalie!”
